Community Projects

Attached below is a presentation that explores possible projects that could increase the value of our homes and community over the coming years. This is not an official plan. No formal quotes of costs have been collected, or any immediate, short-term, or long-term impact assessments officially conducted.  This presentation is meant to encourage brainstorming, collaboration, awareness, and feedback about possible future projects within the community. 1. I would recommend to go ahead with the plan, Basket Ball ground, Pool is really add value to our community. It would make sense to spend $30 per month to get these amenities.

    • I agree. The community is very nice but lacks activity areas for our children. A pool is a necessity in the summer and we would not mind paying extra to get amenities like these.

  2. A pool and basketball courts are long overdue. This community offers nothing for families and therefore has a negative affect on re-sale value. A basketball court would eliminate the need for basketball goals in front yards which are unattractive. I’m willing to pay extra for family oriented amenities.

  3. Unfortunately a pool cannot be installed in the community for two reasons. First is cost: $1.15 – $1.67 million dollars for the first year (build and operational), and $55-$72K per year operating costs thereafter. Second, Loudoun County will not allow a pool to be built in the only area where it could go due to easement restrictions. Please see the “Strategic Planning Update” link above for more details.
